Raven Chocolates

Raven Chocolates was born out of a love for chocolates and the belief that

“Chocolate is good for the Soul”

Winters in Alaska are long and dark. Tina and Frieda have found that after 40 years of these winters, the one creature that remains a positive, bright, playful part of these dark days is The Raven: no matter the temperature no matter the conditions.

The Raven's presence each morning as they enter the city from their roosts high above in the Chugach Mountain Range to their timely departure each afternoon at dusk is one the Koper’s watch for and cherish. Their playful antics and their cunning ability to make every situation a game, bring light and joy to these long winter months. Whether it is soaring in the wind currents above the tall buildings or sliding down a snow pile, each day is worth finding joy in.

With these thoughts the name Raven Chocolates was born.

The tradition of the Flying Dutchman continues in these truffles and bonbons and custom medallions. Fine chocolates, fresh creams and butters for the centers. All made with the hope that they will bring a smile to your face and joy to your
soul.
We here at the Flying Dutchman are dedicated to producing a fine line of wonderful chocolates, bon bon and truffles. Our philosiphy reamains to use only the finest ingredients aoffer it in a wonderful product that all can enjoy.
